Targeted Acquisitions

In addition to in-licensing new molecules for development, we will pursue targeted acquisitions, when appropriate, to expand our product and technology portfolio.

We believe that some of the most exciting new drug therapies will come from work currently underway in young, emerging companies. A number of these firms are undervalued, no longer able to get the financing they need and may represent strategic opportunities for Alseres.

Ideal acquisition targets will have later stage pre-clinical or clinical stage programs. It’s also important that their programs are synergistic with our CNS focus and that they have a strong scientific background and technical leadership. In addition, acquisition targets should have credible investors amenable to change and willing to invest in the combined entity.
